I thought it would be a good idea to collate all the places I wish to go to in the future. Doesn’t have to be a new place:

1. Siguniang Shan, Sichuan Province, China: I will not rest till I climb to the top of the lowest peak. Failed to do so back in 2008.
2. Xinjiang Province, China: 1 month in the desert
3. Shanxi Province, China: few days in the old city of Pingyao in this coal mining province – scheduled for May 2011
4. Guangdong Province, China: General Survey
5. Fujian Province, China: General Survey
6. Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia
7. Nunavut Province, Canada
8. Cuba: With a Leica, and Ektar 100 and Tri-X film
9. Luzon Island: Philippines: Tracing the legend of the Jeepney
10. Timbuktu, Mali: Salt Mines!!!
11. Mt Taranaki, North Island, New Zealand: Looks amazing up in the air. Need to spend a few days circumnavigating this pretty volcano
12. Visit all prefectures in Japan: Quite a bit more to go
13. Iceland
